CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL CHANGES



Ice melting- physical change- the ice is melting into water. This is not a new substance.







Chemical reaction- fire burning- identity of the wood is changing. New substances are being formed.

















Please post your ideas for your physical change demonstration and your chemical reaction demonstration.
Make sure to include a few different ideas for each as well as a brief description of the main ones you want to use.
Last, include the materials you will need for the experiment.

Page I- title page, put the strands you are studying (SCH.1.3.3, SCH.1.3.4)
Page 2- Put SCH.1.3.3at top of page. Show similarities and differences of science disciplines
Page 3- Put SCH.1.3.4 at the top of page. Show notes on page page 740. Click on the picture for it to enlarge it.


Remember, when you are done with your presentation go to share in the top right corner and click on publish/embed. Copy the embed code. Then paste then embed code on your website. :)

Paint homework (read directions carefully)

You are covering strand SC.H.3.3.6  not SCH.1.3.6 which the video says.

XI. STRAND SC.H.3.3.6 
The student knows that no matter who does science and mathematics or invent things, or when or where they do  it, the knowledge and technology that result can eventually become available to everyone. 

1st) Open up the paint program  on your computer. (If you don't know how click on the start menu and look for it in all programs).


2nd) Find a picture of an invention you want to study. Drag it or save it to your desktop. Drag it onto the paint program.

3) Underneath the picture you need to write about where the product was made, who it is sold to, how many have been sold and a little bit about the the product's history.
4) Somewhere on the page make sure it says XI. or SCH 3.3.6 

5) Last you need to write the strand in your own words.

6) Click File, then click Save As. Name the file, and below naming the file it says "Save as type" Scroll down until you hit JPEG. You have just created a picture. 

7) Go to your yola account, drag over an image and find the JPEG you just made.
